Highlight Text using Text Highlight Colour

Ribbon Location: Home Tab – Font Group – Text Highlight Colour (drop-down arrow for colour options).

How to Highlight Text in Word

  • Select the text you wish to highlight and select the highlighter colour using the dropdown arrow.
  • To switch back to the normal cursor, click the Text Highlight Colour command.

Bullet Points

Where is the Bullet and Numbering in Microsoft Word 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016,  2019 and 365

Bulleted and numbered lists can be used in your documents to format, arrange and emphasise text.

How to create a bulleted list

  • Before you begin to type, place the cursor at the start of your page.
  • Click the Bullets or Numbering drop-down arrow on the Home tab.
  • Select the bullet or numbering style that you would like to use, the bullet point will appear in your document.
  • To remove numbers or bullets from a list, select the list and click the Bullet or Numbering commands.

When you’ve reached the end of your list, press Enter twice to return to “normal” formatting.
